Description:
Concrete repair works carried out as part of the conversion of an existing office building into residential apartments in London. The project addressed widespread concrete deterioration, impact damage, and substrate defects identified during strip-out and structural surveys. Works involved careful breakout of defective concrete, preparation and treatment of exposed reinforcement, reinstatement using structural repair mortars, and making good to ensure compatibility with new internal layouts and finishes. All repairs were completed in accordance with structural specifications to support the change of use and long-term durability of the building.
